This summer, experience the incredible Xavi Hernández training camp, the legendary Spanish soccer player of FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team. The Campus Xavi Hernández Experience has been held for 25 years, and has become more than a camp, It’s a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and live soccer like never before, inspired by Xavi Hernández.

Xavi Hernández’s camp is brought to you exclusively by JCR Academy. Our vision at JCR Academy is to elevate youth soccer internationally, integrating talented athletes with proven methodologies and expanding career opportunities for both players and coaches. We have partnered with Xavi Hernández to provide youth players in the United States with these incredible opportunities. Youth in the 5-15 age group are at such unique points in their development. Providing them with international opportunities will have a positive impact on them for their entire existence — not just as players, but as people.

About the Xavi Hernández 2025 Training Camp Experience

Train Like a Pro

This unique camp uses the same methodology that shaped Xavi into a soccer icon and powered the rise of the greatest FC Barcelona team in history. Designed to ignite a passion for soccer and instill essential sports values, the camp is perfect for young talents ready to take their game to the next level.

From a holistic perspective, we bear in mind all the methodological orientations involved in the process of learning football.

We use global and systemic methodologies, based on the joint development of the different capacities (technical, tactical, physical, and psychological) of the players.

Morning and afternoon Training sessions will push you to be your best with scrimmages, night games, film and even laser tag in the evenings! Sessions will include:

• Using methodological soccer tools adapted to the level of the players
• Working on different game situations to reach an understanding of football
• Knowing and applying the different tactical concepts of the game
• Adapting the game to the players and hereby facilitating their understanding
• Improving the tactical intelligence of the player through constant decision-making
• Working with small groups of players of similar age

Tours and Events

Tour the legendary FC Barcelona museum, explore the vibrant city of Girona and Girona FC (Champions League team) facilities, and soak in the magic of Barcelona on a day of unforgettable sightseeing.

Each participant will receive three jerseys, a pair of shorts, and socks to look and feel the part during the camp. Then, take home a trophy, a diploma, and a postcard signed by the one and only Xavi Hernández. JCR Soccer Academy will exclusively gift our participants an official jersey of FC Barcelona signed by Xavi Hernandez

The Training Facility

Nestled in the stunning natural surroundings of Girona, the El Collell facility is the ultimate destination for growth and inspiration. This state-of-the-art facility offers players everything they need to elevate their game, with training and accommodations all-in-one. It’s the perfect mix of sport and recreation and always under the supervision of facility and JCR Academy staff.

• Two full-size natural grass football pitches and one turf field
• Five fields dedicated to 3x3 speed football
• Three swimming pools for post-training relaxation
• Sports courts and gym
• Comfortable accommodations — room with 2 double beds
• Full board (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner) with tailored menus for athletes, designed with a balanced, high-quality, and abundant diet, so you can always perform at your best.

Located just 130 km from Barcelona in the mountains, El Collell combines world-class sports infrastructure with the tranquility of nature, creating the perfect setting for your journey to greatness.

Cost includes the following:

• Accommodation at El Collell Facility in Girona, Spain.
• Transport: all trasport included (from airport to facilities and all the trips during the week)
• Full board: breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinners daily

Pricing:

Player Camp Package: $2250 per player (without flight)

• • Payment can be made all at once (due March 20, 2025) or in two installments:
    • $1125 by March 20
    • $1125 on April 30 (full amount due April 30)

• Reservation is for training camp, meals, accommodations, tours & event , does NOT include the flight ticket.
  • In order to take advantage of group transportation from the airport to the facilities, the player should report at the Barcelona airport at group arrival time, 10:10AM on June 26. If the player arrives outside of that time, they will need to make arrangements for their own transport to the facility, at your own cost.
  • As the flight is purchased outside of JCR, it is recommended to purchase a refundable fare or flight/trip insurance to cover the cost of the flight in case the camp does not make. If we don’t have enough players to travel, you are refunded 100% of fees paid to JCR for camp, but since flight is paid outside of us, we recommend the additional protection.
• We will provide group transportation back to the airport on day of departure aligning with the group’s returning flight time. If your player needs transport outside of that time, that will need to be arranged separately (at your own cost).

• Supporter Package

• • There is no formalized “Supporter Package” for this camp. If you as a parent or guardian would like to accompany your child to Spain, you may do so by reserving your own flight and accommodations. We are happy to provide recommendations nearby. Please note that parents/guardians are NOT allowed on the training grounds or at the facilities. For more information please contact us directly.

Important information

Required documents for this trip include:

• Valid US Passport (cannot expire within 6 months of departure date)
• VISA: US Citizens are allowed to travel without a Visa. Check requirements for any other nationality.
• Written Approval / Authorization for player under 18 to travel alone

Insurance

• We request that you purchase trip insurance to cover the cost of the flight, or purchase a flight that allows credits or refunds in case the camp does not make. If we don’t have enough players to travel, you are refunded 100% of fees paid to JCR for camp, but since flight is paid outside of us, we recommend the additional protection.
• Accidental insurance is included
• Accidental insurance / additional travel insurance is optional and can be purchased separately

As a parent, can I come to Spain with my child?

Yes, but you will need to make your reservation separately. We are happy to provide recommendations nearby. Please be aware that parents are not allowed at training or sleeping accommodations and the tours are for players only. For more information please contact us directly.

Can I book a flight separate from the group flight for my child?

Yes! We have included a price for the package that does and does not include the flight. You may select whichever best suits you. The Player All Inclusive Package includes the flight. The Player Camp Package does NOT include the flight.

Can my child room with friends?

Yes! When completing registration, please note the players’ names that your child would like to room with. Rooms can accommodate between 2-6 players.

Who will my daughter room with?

In the complex, girls have exclusively rooms for them. Will stay in separate rooms from male players.

I won’t be traveling to Spain with my child, how often can I speak with them?

We know this is important to you and it’s important to us too! You can speak with your child as you need! Players will be busy with training sessions, meals, events and rest, so the best time to catch them is during their down time. If your child has a cell phone they can use it during their down time. If they do not have a cell phone, you can contact one of JCR Academy coaches assigned to your child to get in touch with him/her.  They also may use the house phone once a day. You are also free to call or email the facility as you need.

Do I need to pay for it all up front?

Although you can pay the full amount up front, you are not required to. We have broken the payments into installments, with the first payment being a deposit, followed by one additional payment The trip must be paid in full by April 30, 2025.

What is your refund / cancellation policy?

See our cancellation policy for this trip in Terms & conditions. If you are concerned about needing to cancel, you may purchase trip insurance from [partner insurance company]. That policy must be purchased at the time of registration.

Additionally, we have a minimum number of players we need to attend camp to make it happen. If for some reason we do not make those numbers and cannot take the players to Spain, you will be refunded at 100%.

What if my child gets sick or injured while in Spain?

Although we hope that won’t happen, we are prepared. We have staff onsite (nurses, trainers and medics) and a formalized process to attend any emergency. We are close to nearby hospitals should any player need one. In the event of an injury or illness, we reach out to  the player’s emergency contact immediately. Although players are covered by a blanket insurance coverage during their stay, we recommend a separate trip insurance policy for peace of mind.

Do you have and enforce a curfew for players?

Yes. Players are here for an amazing soccer experience, which requires adequate rest. We will give them a code of conduct, that is the expected behavior of an athlete.

What is the number one thing you would want me to know as a parent?

The number one thing we want you to know is that this international opportunity is one of the coolest and most impactful experiences they will have in their soccer career. We take great pride in this experience, as we know just how amazing this is and how they will remember it for the rest of their lives.
